Day 02: Day excursion to Paro Taktsang Gonpa/Monastery and sightseeing.

Overnight Paro. Hike about two hours gradual climb to monastery and one down hill back to parking. Later visit ruin Drukgyel Dzong and 7th century Kyichu Temple.
Day 03: Drive to Thimphu. Lunch at the hotel.

Sight seeing Thimphu Valley.Overnight Thimphu. Drive to Thimphu about one and half hours. Sightseeing includes - Art School, weaving centre, Heritage and Textile Museum, Takin, Handicrafts centre. Evening at leisure.
Day 04: Day excursion Punakha. Overnight Thimphu.

Start early to Dochula pass (alt.3000m). If the weather permits, you can see a range of high Himalayan peaks towards the northeast. Including Gangkar Puensum, the highest peak in Bhutan at 7,497m. Punakha Dzong was the capital of Bhutan until 1955, and still serve as the winter residence of the monk body. The fortress has withstood several damages from fire, earthquake and flood. (Round trip driving hours about 5 to 6)
