Day 02: Morning day excursion to Paro Taktsang Monastery/Gonpa and sightseeing Paro Valley.

Overnight in hotel. Hike about two hours gradual climb to monastery and one down hill back to parking. Later visit ruin Drukgyel Dzong and 7th century Kyichu Temple.
Day 03: Afternoon drive to Punakha. Overnight at Hotel.

Drive to Punakha about four hours. From Dochula pass (3000m), If the weather permits, you can see a range of high Himalayan peaks towards the northeast. Including Gangkar Puensum, the highest peak in Bhutan at 7,497m. Hike to the temple of divine madman about one and half hours. It’s a easy walk through rice fields and farmhouses. Later Punakha Dzong was the capital of Bhutan until 1955, and still serve as the winter residence of the monk body. The fortress has withstood several damages from fire, earthquake and flood.
Day 4: Excursion to Phobjikha valley. Return to Punakha for overnight.

Start early, Phobjikha is one of the few glacial valleys in Bhutan and chosen home of black necked crane, which migrate from the central Asiatic Plateau to escape its harsh winters. About one hour hike in Gangtey valley. Visit to Gangtey Monastery (under renovation), the only Nyingmapa Monastery in Bhutan. Late afternoon drive back to Punakha. Overnight Hotel.
Day 5: Drive to Punakha/Thimphu. Overnight hotel.

Morning drive north of Punakha valley, hike 45minutes to Khamsum Namgyel Chorten. Afternoon drive to Thimphu about two and half hours. Evening visit Handicrafts centre. later at leisure in capital city.
Day 6: Thimphu/Paro. Overnight at hotel.

Morning visit - Art School, weaving centre, Heritage and Textile, Museum,Traditional, paper making place, Takin, traditional medicinal centre. Evening drive to Paro for overnight.
Day 7: Drive to Paro airport for departure. TASHI DELEK!
